A new baby changes everything, but your relationship can (and should!) still thrive. In this couples workshop, you and your partner will learn evidence-based tools from Emotionally Focused Therapy and attachment science to stay connected and strong through the transition to parenthood.
In this workshop, you and your partner will:
Understand how small moments of connection can act as a “buffer” against stress
Practice repair strategies that research shows help partners reconnect more quickly after conflict
Discover evidence-based approaches that support not only your relationship, but also your baby’s sense of security and well-being
The workshop is led by Kelly Bourque, LMFT, who has nearly 20 years of experience practicing Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a well-researched and effective approach for strengthening adult relationships. Kelly’s clinical expertise and her lived experience as a wife and a mother help her work bridge the latest findings in attachment science with practical, down-to-earth tools that couples can use right away. Her warm teaching style reflects her conviction that secure, connected couples create a secure base for children to thrive.
